Learning a Foreign Language and Grammar

Grammar is similar between languages. It is because it is describing abstract, set-theoretic like, relationships, associations between classes of words and not only between the words themselves. It is this universality of abstract mapping, set-theoretic like associations, relations between classes of words, that needs to be learned so that these abstract constructs can be "filled" later with concrete words. Grammar uses often exotic names for its concepts e.g. Adjective, Noun, Pronoun, Accusative voice, Antecedent, Adverbial Clause, Apposition, Conjunctive adverb, Gerund, Inflection, Participle, Transitive verb. But, don't be alarmed.  If you use any Color Picker to analyse a painting, you will notice how much color is present even in one square centimeter. This is dictated by brush stroke where the colors are mixed before stroke. I will try to run an RGB ANALYSIS of a painting, pixel by pixel, and do frequency count how much points of each color are present, without repetition.

Neuro-psychology of dreams - my take

My conclusion is that the same mind faculty that creates our imagination, our imaginative world and anything that is imagination, creates dreams. But, dreams are disconnected from our reality check faculty, or rather they trick it, the dreams present themselves as reality. So, we have several questions for our inquiry. First can be why do we have dreams or, in other words, why our mind bothers at all to create dreams for us. Also, why mind use this particular method, utilizing our imagination, presents it as reality to our consciousness, and run it like a movie we are in. Second question could be what entity disconnects dreams from our reality checker, and how it presents imagination images as reality, what is the mechanism. Third question could be how the topics of dreams are chosen.  The main goal of scientific research of dreams is, therefore, to find the mind faculty that disconnects reality checker, activates imagination generation, choses the topic, and presents it as reality...

How to approach new concepts and references

A reference to a new concept, in a certain knowledge domain, whose meaning we want to learn, has inherent danger. The reference can be, and usually is, quite arbitrary, and at the same time cross-reference the concept whose meaning we are familiar with. Note that a reference to a particular concept can be any word - we do not have to chose a word that initially refers to some more familiar concept. The danger is in the expectations that, somehow, the name of the concept will explain to us concept itself and its inner workings. It is often not enough to try again and again. The attempts somehow have to differ from each other in order to get different (improved) results. But exactly how do we form new strategy?
